Naveen brings 25+ years of professional experience across taxation, financial transformation, corporate structuring and strategic business advisory, with significant exposure to businesses operating across the UAE, GCC and wider EMEA and international markets.
His principal areas of specialisation include UAE Corporate Tax, cross-border tax planning, corporate and business restructuring, financial transformation, tax governance and operating-model design.
Naveen brings a strong commercial and financial perspective to tax advisory. He evaluates tax structures not in isolation, but in the context of an organisation’s wider financial, operational and strategic objectives. His experience is particularly valuable in business expansion, restructuring, regional market entry, group reorganisations and cross-border arrangements, where tax considerations need to be balanced with governance, financing, commercial substance and operational practicality.
He is also experienced in developing and reviewing technical advisory papers, financial analyses, tax implementation frameworks and management-level recommendations, ensuring that complex tax issues can be clearly understood and acted upon by business leaders. He is a strong advocate of technology-enabled finance and tax functions, supporting clients in embedding digital workflows, structured data and automation within their tax governance and compliance frameworks.
As a Founding Partner, Naveen provides strategic oversight across SBC’s UAE and GCC operations and helps businesses establish robust Corporate Tax, financial governance and cross-border operating frameworks capable of supporting sustainable growth across the wider EMEA region.
