Biography
Balakrishnam Voruganti is a Chartered Accountant with more than 13 years of experience advising clients on auditing, taxation, outsourcing engagements, shared service centre establishment, business analysis, systems implementation, management reporting, financial reporting and accounting processes. He has extensive expertise in designing and implementing effective internal control frameworks and supporting business transformation initiatives.
Prior to joining Steadfast Business Consulting LLP, Balakrishnam worked with a Big Four accounting firm in its audit practice, where he handled statutory audits, tax audits and inventory audits across a range of industries. He subsequently gained significant industry experience as Country Head of a multinational corporation, where he led finance operations, business decision-making processes, shared service centre activities and stakeholder management functions.
As Partner, Outsourcing & Compliances, he advises domestic and international clients on finance, tax and regulatory outsourcing, operational efficiency, governance and compliance matters. His experience spans the establishment and management of shared service centres, financial systems implementation, management reporting frameworks and business process redesign initiatives.
Balakrishnam is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Master of Business Administration, a Diploma in Information Systems Audit (DISA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree.
