The Fédération des Experts Comptables Européens (FEE) has appointed David Devlin as its new president. Devlin replaces Görab Tidström and will hold the role for a two-year period.
Accepting his appointment Devlin declared that the organization's ultimate goal is for the US to recognize European corporate governance arrangements. He believes that financial reporting is at the heart of the present confidence crisis in global capital markets.
