Justin Whitehouse is the Deloitte Global Public Sector Leader and responsible for Deloitte's Middle East Indirect Tax practice. Previously, Justin served as head of the Deloitte UK London VAT team where he specialized in advising real estate, infrastructure, and tourism clients. He possesses extensive experience with commercial and government clients. Justin is a member of the EU Commission's VAT Expert Group and is regularly consulted by industry bodies and the tax authorities, especially on indirect tax issues. He has been involved in a number of studies on the socio-economic impact of tax and is currently working on a variety of tax reform projects, principally in respect of indirect taxes.
