Deloitte takes Lloyds’ tax director to Scottish practice

Deloitte has announced the hire of Nigel Roberts, previously tax director at Lloyds Banking Group. He will be tasked with driving the firm’s VAT practice in Scotland and will be based in the firm’s Edinburgh office.

Roberts has more than 20 years of experience advising on VAT issues which will stand him in good stead to help Deloitte achieve its aim of doubling its VAT business in the area over the next two years.
