Devereux Chambers chooses new head

Timothy Brennan QC has been elected to succeed Ingrid Simler QC as head of Devereux Chambers.

He takes up the position on Monday October 21, while Simler joins the High Court bench on October 28.

Brennan has appeared in scores of reported tax cases at all levels over the last decade, including 14 in the House of Lords and Supreme Court.
