Greece makes foreign imports for distribution abroad free from VAT

Foreign businesses shipping goods into Greece for distribution to third countries will no longer have to pay import VAT at the customs office, under a new law passed by the Greek Parliament. The measure should greatly boost foreign investment into the country.
