Skadden adds former chief of IRS appeals

Diane Ryan, former national chief of appeals for the IRS, is joining Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom’s Chicago office as of counsel on August 1.

Ryan will be part of the firm’s tax controversy practice. She has extensive experience with the policies and procedures related to IRS Appeals, as well as alternative dispute resolution and settlement initiatives.
