ECJ Skandia ruling throws into doubt VAT treatment of cross-border supplies of services by head offices to branches

Some companies with EU branches may see their VAT costs rise after a preliminary ruling from the Court of Justice of the European Union (ECJ) in the case of Skandia America Corporation.
