New hires strengthen KPMG’s Russian offices

KPMG in Russia has appointed Andrey Ermolaev and Nikolay Baranov as directors of the legal team and tax and legal department, respectively.

Ermolaev specialises in tax dispute resolution and litigation. He will assume director of the legal department’s tax dispute resolution team.

Baranov started at KPMG as a tax manager in 2002-2007. Before re-joining KPMG in 2016, he worked at Noerr as a senior manager and partner in the tax and finance advisory department.

Baranov will head the global tax and accounting compliance practice. He specialises in corporate tax and advisory services.
