Antonio Ruiz
Antonio has over 22 years of experience in tax law and local and international tax planning, M&A, corporate reorganisations, the design and implementation of multi-jurisdictional transactions, corporate structures, supply chain reorganisation, tax incentive systems for free trade zones, export regimes, and tax controversy. His expertise spans a wide range of sectors, including real estate, hospitality, financial and banking institutions, consumer goods and pharmaceuticals, healthcare, retail, telecommunications, and education.
Antonio holds a master’s in international law applied to business from Stetson University College of Law in Tampa, Florida, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in public accounting from Universidad de Costa Rica. During his master’s studies in the US, he was a member of the Tampa Bay Area Committee on Foreign Relations. Antonio is a member of the Costa Rican Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Costa Rican Bar Association.
