Anna Lam

Anna is a Director in the Deloitte UK Financial Services TP team. She has over twenty years of experience in the financial services sector in Europe, the US and Hong Kong, including in-house and consulting experience. She specializes in banking, capital markets and insurance.

Prior to joining Deloitte, Anna was the TP policy management and compliance European regional lead for the banking and capital markets business platform in a global bank headquartered in Canada. During her time with the bank, Anna spearheaded the TP strategies and implementation for global trading, corporate banking and investment banking businesses during Brexit and has assisted Europe senior management during tax and regulatory queries as well as tax audits.

Before moving to the UK, Anna worked in the US in advisory capacity for financial services clients, with a primary focus on insurance sector, the captive insurance space and banks headquartered outside of the US. During her tenure in the US, Anna worked on numerous sizable projects in TP policy design, operational TP, TP documentation, and TP controversy cases.

Anna obtained her Master of Business Administration in New York with dual concentration in international business and finance.
