Hannes Snellman expands tax team

VAT Specialist Petri Saukko has joined Hannes Snellman in Helsinki as the firm expands its tax team, which focuses on tax advice in major transactions and complex tax disputes.

Saukko has extensive experience in indirect tax and administrative law, an area which the firm believes will continue to expand as governments place more emphasis on indirect taxation. He also has a background as an administrative court judge and as the chairman of the tax division in an administrative court. He has worked for the Supreme Administrative Court, as well as for an international audit company. In 2012, Saukko worked in the Advocate General’s Cabinet in the Europen Court of Justice. He is also a frequent lecturer.
