Andersen Global has taken over INOVV Consultores Associados, which will now be known as Andersen Tax.

INOVV is the third member firm to adopt the name and the first to join Andersen Global in South America.

INOVV's 10 professionals including partners Bernardo Oliveira and Leonardo Mesquita will be part of the new firm. Oliveira and Mesquita, who started the firm, were previously at PwC. They specialise in indirect taxation (including VAT), direct taxation, tax advisory, labor & social security and international tax for individual and corporate clients.

Andersen Global now has 43 international locations and more than 1,100 professionals worldwide. Andersen Global was founded by Andersen Tax in the US in 2014. Andersen Tax was previously known as WTAS before changing its name in September 2014 after acquiring the rights to the Andersen name.

The most recent additions to the network were in Spain and Latin America.
