Snehal Pawar

Snehal is a director at KNAV. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has passed the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ accredited business valuer examination.

Snehal has over 15 years of experience in valuation services, with core competencies in alternative assets valuation focused on private equity and venture capital. As part of portfolio valuations, her focus lies in periodic valuations for private equity and debt instruments, in accordance with the International Private Equity and Venture Capital Valuation Guidelines and fair value measurement standards under US GAAP and IFRS specific to accounting for investment companies. Snehal has extensive experience in performing valuations for transaction and tax purposes; financial reporting purposes, including complex assets; intangible assets; purchase price allocations; and impairment analysis.

Prior to KNAV, she worked with Kroll (aka Duff & Phelps) and BDO, with a focus on valuation for, and the auditing of, private equity and venture capital funds in the US, the UK, Singapore, and India.
