Jay Das

Jay is the global transfer pricing leader at Deloitte for the technology, media and telecoms industry and the partner-in-charge of the West Region transfer pricing group. He has extensive transfer pricing experience, and serves clients across the United States, including several Fortune 50 companies and Silicon Valley start-ups, and in a range of industries in high technology, media, telecommunications, consumer business, manufacturing, and life sciences.

Jay has provided companies with valuation and economic consulting services involving business model optimisation strategies, mergers and acquisitions, the implementation of IP migration strategies, headquarter services, cross-border transfer pricing planning, and restructuring and reorganisation of international operations.

Prior to joining Deloitte Tax, Jay was an analyst with an investment banking firm, a research assistant at the University of California, San Diego, in the Physics department, and a software developer for the NASA EKK programme.

Jay earned a BA degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of California, and an MBA degree from Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley.
