Biography

Ruben started his professional career in 1998 as a tax lawyer at Arthur Andersen, from where he moved to Deloitte in 2002, working for medium-sized and large national and multinational enterprises (including listed companies) in a variety of industries, ranging from manufacturing, construction, telecommunications, ICT, transport and logistics to fashion and food. His work has brought him into close contact with the various fields of tax law, in both a national and international context. He was one of the founding partners of Taxperience Tax Lawyers mid-2005. His expertise covers advising Dutch and foreign based multinationals on Dutch domestic and international (corporate) tax issues. Areas of expertise include group tax technology strategy, restructuring and reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions and divestures, management of transfer pricing projects, as well as optimizing and implementing tax efficient group structures. In 2017 Ruben co-founded KEEYNS a Tax Technology SAAS company. Keeyns assists in-house Tax and Finance teams of companies and corporates working in multiple countries to gain full control and insight in their (global) tax processes via collaboration (with internal stakeholders and external advisors) on one central platform. In other words a Tax Data Warehouse where companies gain control, get insight via dashboarding and are compliant on their processes via a segregation of duties always and anywhere in the world.
