Biography

Robert Rzeszut, LL.M., is a tax advisor and partner in the Tax Litigation practice at Deloitte Austria in Vienna. He is an expert in tax procedure law and handles complex and extensive appeals and revisions before administrative courts, supreme courts, and international mutual agreement procedures. As a certified expert in financial criminal law, he also specializes in voluntary disclosures and defense in financial criminal cases. As head of the Procedural Law Working Group in the Tax and Social Security Law Committee of the Austrian Chamber of Tax Advisors and Auditors (KSW), Mr. Rzeszut is thoroughly familiar with current developments in his areas of expertise. He is also the editor of the KSW's Guidelines for Tax Audits and the comprehensive "Stoll" Commentary on the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO). Furthermore, Mr. Rzeszut is the author of numerous publications on tax law and a frequent lecturer. In this capacity, he leads the renowned course on procedural law at the Academy of Tax Advisors and Auditors.
