Károly Radnai

Károly started his career at Arthur Andersen, then joined EY. He established his own firm as OrienTax 13 years ago and rebranded it as Andersen as of 1 July 2020.

He is the Chairman of the Tax Committee of Amcham, being the first leader not working at a BIG4 firm.

• Providing professional assistance to a market leader delivery company by describing the tax implications of the employee participants in the Client’s equity-based plan in case of a potential future take-over situation.
• Assisting a film production company to maximize the amount of Hungarian tax rebate via setting up proper contractual and engagement structures. The total cost of foreign cast and crew eligible for the tax rebate amounted to approx. EUR 13.5 million.
• Preparing the group-level (i.e., global) full-scope FY2020 transfer pricing documentation of an electric lighting equipment manufacturer company covering 10 countries including the localisation of the local files for the tax jurisdiction of each affected related party. The value of the engagement was approx. EUR 43 million / year.
• According to the evaluation of International Tax Review, Andersen Hungary provided the best performance among Hungarian tax consulting firms last year and was granted the award for the best Hungarian tax consulting firm (ITR EMEA Tax Award 2021).
