Jonathan, a partner at Ideatax, brings a wealth of experience in tax-related fields, amassing over 10 years of expertise. He is an alumnus of Sekolah Tinggi Akuntansi Negara (STAN), followed by further education at the University of Indonesia and a law degree from Universitas Bung Karno. His robust academic foundation has equipped him with a strong understanding of both tax and legal matters. Before co-founding Ideatax, Jonathan worked in a natural resource company and gained diverse experience across various tax consulting firms. His career trajectory took a significant turn when he joined Indonesia’s Tax Authorities, where he served for eight years. His assignments included positions in the Oil and Gas Taxes Office, Jakarta Madya Tax Office, and the Head Office of the Directorate General of Taxes. His most recent role was as a Strategic Account Representative at the Setiabudi Tax Office, where he was entrusted with managing key business sectors, such as coal and nickel mining, fintech, manufacturing, e-commerce, trading, and dealing with Indonesia’s business conglomerates. Jonathan's areas of specialization include tax planning, tax disputes, mergers and acquisitions, as well as international tax and transfer pricing, making him a highly skilled professional in complex and cross-border tax matters. His depth of experience and strategic insight serve as invaluable assets to Ideatax's clientele.
