Johan is a Partner and head of the M&A Tax department in Sweden. He has over 18 years of experience with Swedish and international tax work and has for the last 13 years focused on M&A related tax advisory work.
Johan advises private equity clients, real estate investors and corporate investors in various types of M&A transactions, ranging from acquisitions and divestments to mergers and integrations. Johan has provided tax related advice and tax reviews in relation to several IPOs/public offerings and public to private transactions. He also advises clients on various ongoing Swedish and international tax matters, such as restructurings and refinancing work.
Johan has broad experience from advising clients on international projects with multiple jurisdictions involving cross border tax due diligence, structuring and tax modelling. Typical clients include Swedish and international private equity firms, real estate funds and multinational corporates.
