With 35+ years in customs and trade consultancy, Bob is one of Deloitte’s most experienced global trade advisory specialists. Bob currently leads the European Services Group in Vietnam. Prior to joining Deloitte Vietnam, Bob was the leader of Deloitte’s Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia Global Trade Advisory practice.
Bob has assisted many MNCs, across all key business sector, structure their contractual and supply chain arrangements to take advantage of available trade facilitation arrangements, and to be customs duty/VAT efficient. Bob has supported companies to successfully navigate customs audits and disputes.
Bob is a frequent speaker on various trending customs and trade topics and has provided technical and interpretative guidance to various Customs authorities in the SEA and AP region – including Vietnam.
Bob is a member of the Eurocham Transportation & Logistics Industry Sector Committee, BritCham Tax & Customs Working Group, German Business Association and Vietnam Business Forum Tax & Customs Working Group.
Bob is recognized as a Vietnam Indirect Tax Leader 2018-2022 by International Tax Review.
