Christine Ramsay

Christine is a partner and the national service line leader of Deloitte’s transfer pricing practice in Canada. Based in Toronto, she has over 24 years of transfer pricing experience. Christine has assisted multinational clients covering a broad cross-section of issues, from establishing and documenting to defending their transfer pricing policies.

She has advised numerous multinational companies in the following industries: media and entertainment, hospitality and leisure, high-end luxury goods retail and wholesale, consumer products, mining, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals. Transactions have ranged from transfers of tangible goods, the provision of services, the licensing of intangibles, and the determination of interest rates to complex restructurings and redesigns of business and transfer pricing models and transaction flows.

Christine’s transfer pricing experience is also focused on dispute resolution. She has successfully defended companies in tax disputes, including preparing audit defence strategies and representing clients before the Canadian tax authorities in transfer pricing field audits and advance pricing agreement assignments, as well as advising clients through the competent authority process.
