Chris Ferguson

Chris is an Australian Legal Practitioner who has significant experience in the fields of international tax, the taxation of intangible assets, tax administration, and dispute resolution. In February 2022, Chris joined Deloitte, moving across from the Australian Taxation Office, where he performed various assistant commissioner roles.

Chris’ experience means he is best placed to advise clients in respect of emerging issues and opportunities connected with intangibles, and in respect of administrator expectations regarding documentation, tax compliance, and governance.

The experience obtained while performing a variety of roles at the Australian Taxation Office allows Chris to expertly advise clients in respect of engagement approaches and dispute resolution strategies.
