The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in the US has transformed its relationship with corporate taxpayers, had significant successes in the fight against international tax evasion and learned to use technology smarter.
Doug Shulman outlined these as example's of the revenue agency’s successes since he joined in 2007, in his final speech as commissioner of the IRS to the autumn meeting of the Tax Division of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants on November 7. He stepped down as commissioner on Sunday.
